Can I purchase from OCI?
OCI may sell products and services only to qualified customers, as defined in Oklahoma State Statutes. Those customers include governmental agencies of the state and any subdivision of the state, non-profit or charitable agencies chartered in Oklahoma, units of the federal government and units of government in other states, all entities which contract with any of the preceding agencies, any Oklahoma church, and all employees or retired employees of the state of Oklahoma or any subdivision thereof. OCI cannot sell to the general public and will not sell products for resale.
Do you share my personal data with anyone else?
OCI is a state agency that has no affiliation with any commercial entity for the purpose of sharing customer information. Your information will be retained by OCI only for the purpose of serving you better and will not be shared with any other entity.

How do you secure my personal data?
We employ Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt the information you give us. When you are on a secure page you will see a closed lock in your browser status bar that will indicate your information has been protected. It is important for you to close your browser when you have completed your transactions on our site.
How secure is my credit card information?
The OCI website does not retain your entire credit card number; only the last four digits of your number will be retained for the purpose of confirming an order. The complete number is captured only for direct secure transmittal to our banking agency for validation and for charging your account. It is not viewable by anyone within our organization.
If I register on your site, how will my information be used?
We receive and store information you give us so we can better serve you by responding to your requests for information, by customizing shopping for you and for communicating with you. We transfer cookies (alphanumeric identifiers) to your hard drive so we can recognize your browser. These cookies allow us to customize your shopping experience and allow retention of your shopping cart between visits. If you turn off cookies in your computer we will not be able to provide those features.
May I ship my order to an out of state address?
Only qualified governmental agencies in other states may have products shipped out of Oklahoma. Products shipped out of state will be shipped by common carrier at the customer's expense. Employees and retired employees of the state and its subdivisions must accept delivery of OCI products at a facility within the state. No products will be shipped to individuals outside the state.
What are my order options?

What are my payment options?
Payment for all employee related sales is due upon placement of the order. The payment may be via credit card on line or by check or money order presented at the OCI Showroom. Orders for employees will be processed after receipt of payment. All organizational orders are invoiced when the product is received.
What is the OCI statewide contract number?
OCI does not have a statewide contract number. If you represent a state agency, you must purchase from OCI based upon the State Use Law in Title 57, Section 549.1
What may I buy?
All qualified agencies and other qualified organizations may buy all OCI products except for license tags, which are sold only to the Oklahoma Tax Commission and authorized Native American Tribal Tax entities. Qualified individual buyers will be further restricted to items that are not regulatory in nature. For example, individuals may not purchase regulatory signs and some institutional items may be unavailable. OCI reserves the right to restrict product sales and to impose minimum order quantities.
What taxes must I pay?
All state agencies, subdivisions of the state, other governmental agencies and non-profit organizations are tax-exempt. The Federal Employer Identification (FEI) number must be provided when purchasing. All state employees, retired employees, and contractors of the tax-exempt units will pay state and local taxes applicable at the place the product is delivered.
Why do I need an exemption so I can purchase from another source?
The State Use Law specifically requires all agencies to purchase OCI products and services when the products or services are provided at fair market price for comparable value. “Exceptions may be made in any case where, in the opinion of the Department of Central Services, the article or product does not meet the reasonable requirements of or for such offices, departments, institutions or, agencies, counties, schools, colleges, universities, or political subdivisions or any agency thereof, or in any case where the requisitions made cannot be reasonably complied with. No such offices, departments, institutions, agencies, counties, schools, colleges, universities, or political subdivisions or any agency thereof shall be allowed to evade the intent and meaning of this section by slight variations from standards adopted by the Department of Central Services, when the articles, services or products produced or manufactured by the Department of Corrections, in accordance with established standards, are reasonably adapted to the actual needs of such offices, departments, institutions or, agencies, counties, schools, colleges, universities, or political subdivisions or any agency thereof.”
Why does it take so long for my product to be shipped?
OCI is primarily a manufacturing organization. Products are manufactured to meet demand and are not stored in large quantities. Only promotional or “quick ship” items will be available for delivery within a few days.
